No banner, no crowd. One morning in June we fed twenty cows with green grass. That was the whole plan, and the whole of it was carried out. Some of our best work is the quietest.
Across three days we visited five government schools and gave biscuits and cold drinks to around 1,000 students. A child who has met us on a good day listens differently when we come back to teach.
A thousand-year-old temple in Paldi-Kankaj, said to be built by Nakul of the Pandavas. We fed cows, we fed three elephants who took food from our hands like they had all the time in the world, and we spent the day in stillness.
Some days you go out to give something. Other days you come back having received more.
